Reach has changed its system of awarding certificates.
As of May 2009 we have the following tiers in hours of volunteering:
1- 49 hrs: Achievement Award
50- 99 hrs: Bronze
100- 199 hrs: Silver
200+ hrs: Gold (the Volunteering England Gold Awards)
What is classed as volunteering?
Examples of volunteering include: being a course rep/StAR, undertaking voluntary work for a charity or a government body, being involved in a youth group, being a school governor, organising or being part of a University society. These are only a few examples, if you are unsure whether what you are currently doing could be classed as volunteering, please contact us to find out.
Please follow the instructions below if you wish to receive a certificate during our celebration event in June 2010. Certificates will be awarded for volunteering work (one-offs and/or more regular volunteering) undertaken between May 2009 and May 2010:
- Download the Record of Volunteering Hours here.
- Print it off and have your volunteering hours signed off by your supervisor at whichever organisation you're volunteering for.
- The cut off date for returning the Record to us is 25th May 2010.
